To orient each ALF resident and ADT/NRSS consumer into the community.
To provide ALF residents and NRSS consumers with the opportunity to develop an understanding of their rights and means for self advocacy.
To provide ALF residents and NRSS consumers with the opportunity to develop an awareness of their community and the resources it provides.
To provide ALF residents and NRSS participants with the opportunity to develop personal, leisure, recreational and employment skills.
To provide ALF residents and NRSS participants with the opportunity to develop or improve skills in activities of daily living.
To provide ALF residents and NRSS participants with the opportunity to develop socialization skills and peer relations.
To provide the opportunity for non-verbal ALF residents and NRSS participants to develop alternate means of communication and for verbal ALF residents and NRSS participants to develop more effective means of communication.
To provide the opportunity for ALF residents and NRSS participants with and without medical conditions to develop greater self sufficiency in monitoring and maintaining their physical health.
